Hello, hope everyone has a great Friday! Felicia here to share a birthday layout with you today. I have a group that I ususally scrapbook with once a month and we have started having challenges where you bring a themed layout with you and we all vote for our favorite. This month's theme is a Birthday layout. I plan on working on another one tomorrow night as well, but here is the layout I am taking with me. I have really started using We R Memory Keepers divided photo sleeves and I am really liking them. It seems like creating layouts are faster than they used to be.
The first page on the layout is pretty simple. I used two background patterned papers then layered the photos on top. I then cut out a big 25 for the age that the birthday girl turned. I used Cricut cartridge Plantin Schoolbook to cut out the 25.
Here is the second pager. The alligator at the bottom of the page is hard to see with the glare, but him and the sentiment "Birthday Wishes" are cut from the cartridge Birthday Bash. I tried to use similar colors to tie the two pages together. Here is a closeup of the alligator.
He is so cute!
I hope you have had some inspiration for the day, and we would love to see some of your projects. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Felicia
Lovely pages - and I really like the theme idea, I might try that at my crop!
