Hi everyone, Erika here today with a little taste of summer. The sun is out and the sky is blue so I guess Summer is finally here and long may it stay!
Today I am sharing with you a beach canvas...
I picked up the blank framed canvas from my local craft shop, I have then painted it white, sanded it and then distressed it with Brushed corduroy Distress ink. The canvas part has been covered with Distress stain Broken china then Picket fence, finally edged with Brushed corduroy. The cloud paper and the scrabble tiles I've had for ages and can not give you details sorry, I've been using up some bits and bobs. The stamp in the middle is by Molly Blooms iy is called Seaside Huts and it is coloured with copic markers.
I have layered the huts with 3D foam hopefully you can get a better view here...
I am very lucky to live about 5 minutes walk from the beach although living in the North of Scotland summer is usually brief. This last week has been beautiful so I thought I'd share a view up from the sea. Unfortunately you can only just start to see our run of beach huts in the top corner. It was a really busy day on the sand with only us there!
Who needs to be anywhere else?
Thanks for popping by today I hope you are enjoying your weekend and happy crafting!
Hugs Erika. x
That's such a lovely personal gift :D x
