Happy Friday! Leanne here, with your first post for the weekend :)
I know the weekends get busier over the summer (yes, despite all the rain, it IS officially summer!) with days out, barbecues, and WEDDINGS. So, incase you're heading off to one tomorrow and don't yet have a card ready, I thought I'd pop one on to offer some inspiration, if I may!
My inspiration for the colour scheme came from an outfit on Pinterest, and I knew it was fresh, and funky, yet chic - everything you want for a special occasion.
I love this wedding wheel stamp, as it allows me to stamp long, repeated patterns - it also made great wrapping paper, but I forgot to photograph that, sorry - so it came in very useful for an interesting background. I inked the stamp a little sparingly, as I wanted to use it for texture, as opposed to making the words the feature of the card.
That I left to the sentiment "Mr & Mrs". I knew when I saw this in the catalogue that I had to have it! So stylish and versatile :) I simply diecut it, and matted onto grey card before handcutting the border (this die was from a mix and match, rather than a nesting set). The greeting was mounted onto foam pads, onto a matted and layered background, and I added a little bling to finish it off- well, it is a wedding after all!
Anyway, I hope that it has provided you with some ideas for your own makes- Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a lovely weekend, wherever your plans may be!
