On a trip to Bath, my sister saw a very expensive hanging plaque made of tin. I decided to make her one using a similar colour pallete but this cost nothing as I used things I already had.
I used three pieces of Mount board approx 7 by 5 inches. I painted them with pale blue watercolour mixed with white acrylic paint and used a sponge to apply the paint. I edged each plaque with grey paint and stamped the background with a crackle effect stamp.
I cut the letters and cups from sizzlit dies and used small jump rings to join each plaque. The final finishing touch was a piece of jute string to hang it from.
