As you will have seen from yesterdays post- Virginia had a special birthday! So this is an Alice inspired tea in honour of that- also ideal for unbirthdays, a Mad Hatter's teaparty and kids- big and small! I've done a few step by steps and made this for 4 guests- but it takes no time at all so quantity is not an issue. The ingredients come as per item ( you'll see what I mean!)
Melt a small bowl of chocolate- this is going to be your glue for 2 types of edible tea cups!
Next up you will need for each cup- a flat based wafer cone, a jammy ring, 1/2 a party ring,3 marshmallows, melted chocolate and sprinkles.
Dip the cone in the chocolate and attach to the jammy ring.
Stuff with marshmallows.
Dip in the party ring in the choc and add as your handle.
Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle liberally!
Marshmallow cups next! you will need a marshmallow, a party ring, a jazzy( white chocolate button with hundreds and thousands) and a gummy ring cut in half. Much the same technique as before...
Attach the mallows to the party ring with chocolate
Add a jazzy on top for froth ( if you haven't eaten them all!)
Then add the gummy handles.
Cupcakes next! I expect you could come up with a monumental pile of ideas!
I've prepped M & M's for cats eyes.
Spare jazzies for the ears and a snipped marshmallow for the grin. A black icing pen added the details.
A few more sweets then were used for the " Eat me's!"
Which then leaves the "Drink me's!"
A few labels on the laptop to cover lemonade bottles was a quick and easy option.
Finally a savoury option. Very simple.
A mini roll caterpillar!
All thats left to do is serve to appreciative guests! If you google Alice in Wonderland party, there are a wealth of idea that can be adapted as I've done. I'd particularly recommend these....

Ah thank you - I loved my on line party for my birthday! I've decided to not grow up at all now I've hit that one - which is great as a Mad Hatters tea party definitely hits the spot on that one! I love all of the particularly the caterpillar!

And your next party is when exactly? I'll be waiting for my invitation. My saying from now on is "a jazzy for froth" - it's going viral. :D
