I wanted to share this page with you as it is one of the quickest pages I have made and that I am happy with after! The things that made it quicker were the fact that I used a fantastic sketch courtesy of Jane at A Trip Down Memory Lane and I also used a paper kit (from ATDML too)- they are all from Websters pages Sunday Picnic line. To speed me up I often try and use papers from a particular range as I know all the colours should go together. So you can either buy a kit from a club or maybe put together a kit of papers from your own stash. I picked up a tip from Shimelle for when I mix papers from different manufacturers which is to look at the base colour of the papers - whether it is cream or white (the ones I have used are white) and so when you are putting the different papers together try and keep cream base with cream base and white with white. So a quick check list for speeding up your scrapping.
- Use a kit - either buy or make your own one up and try and limit yourself to the kit (remember the cream/white tip if you are putting it together yourself)
- Use a sketch, there are lots of blogs that have monthly sketchs and many of the paper manufacturers create sketchs too (I just searched in google images and here is all the inspiration that came back)
So why not put together a kit and pick up a sketch and see how much it speeds you up when you are scrapping.
Love those motion arrows you've made with triangles, and how much fun the 'not so young' boy is having ;)
