A Bit Of Bargain Gardening

Not a huge amount of craftiness going on here at the moment to share so I've gone with a gardening post.

 

I don't have a garden as such with a lawn etc - just a yard so I have lots of pots and baskets. 

 

This year I left it quite late to buy any bedding plants to fill the baskets because of holidays and the awful weather the UK has seen recently but I got a nice surprise when I finally got around to it.  Look at the prices of these.  I'm particularly pleased that I managed to get £6 worth of lobelia for 25p.

There were some in the trays that were beyond resurrection but the majority of them just needed a good watering.

Once they were looking more lively I moved them into my wall baskets and a hanging basket.

now just to wait and see if my bargains bloom.  I'll keep you updated in my future slots on here.

Now that's what I call a bargain, way cheaper than seeds even. Let's hope we all get some bloomin good weather soon.

I'd like to see them blooming too, haven't got to grips with the garden this year with all the lovely rain we've been having. Bring on the sunshine.
