Happy Easter everyone from all of us here at it's a creative world. So it seemed fitting for this post to make you all an Easter card, though a bit of a different take to your traditional Easter cards; my focus was on love, so I used the heart and verse for my inspiration.
I started cutting out the blue paper and I drew and cut out the heart, I stitched, sanded and inked these pieces of papers. I then wrapped some twine and added a key to the heart (I stuck the key with silicon glue), and made a little Happy Easter tag which I placed a small piece of doily behind. For the background I used a spellbinders border die and inked and layered the pieces on my card. I printed the verse ou on the computer in a typewriter font, then lightly stuck my blue paper over where my text had printed on the A4 sheet and then ran it through the printer again so it printed on my patterned paper. I backed the words with some brown paper bag and stapled them onto the card.
I hope you all have a fantastic day.
Katherine
