Hi there Kerry here
I don't know about you but this time of year with the temperatures playing games I find my lips and hands get very dry. We must spend hours in this house trying to find lip balm.
I decided I needed to have one close at hand that would stay where I left it so after searching the web found a few tutorials which I sort of fudged together and added my own little bits to come up with a couple of holders to fit the lip balms I had and the way I wanted to attach them to things such as my handbag, keys or school bags etc.
There are lots of tutorials on Youtube and Google brings up lots aswell. I went down the crochet route but there are so many other ways you could make one.
They are basically just a tube with a flap and a loop to fasten the button with so it doesn't fall out.
As far as the hands go well I have tried so many different creams that made hardly any difference until I used Body Shop Hemp hand cream. All I will say is WOW.
Thanks for looking
Haha these are so cute, I hate the way lip salve sinks to the botton of your handbag and comes up with all sorts of unidentifiable crumbs around the join of the lid. Yuck.
We are also huge fans of BS hemp hand cream, it's absolutely the best. OK so it doesn't smell too pretty but hey it works like a dream!
