Feeling inspired or needing a Challenge?

I was thinking about what inspires me when I scrap and one of them is the huge wealth of challenge sites out there.  So I thought I would do a list of some of the places I love and have come across...and if you have any great sites then do link them up in the comments.  Warning this is a very link heavy post, but use the links at your leisure :)

Starting with a page I made for the new challenge over at the The Studio Challenges Blog, one of this months challenges is to use the very popular chevrons (which in all fairness I had been itching to do since seeing them out there on lots of pages).  The Studio Challenges Blog have different challenges twice a month, whether it be a sketch, photo, scrap item all sorts.

I also love the challenges going on over at UKscrappers at the moment they have Simple Recipes on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays with colours to encorporate into your pages, and sample pages and pdfs full of inspiration.  Shimelle is also doing a class on the 20th 'and now for something completely different' with a complete step by step tutorial to make a page (I also love her starting points).

Scrapology is another great site where they scraplift a designers page, and create a sketch each month with a little challenge tied into it too, they also have a monthly card challenge. Alongside the challenges their designers offer tips on how they created their pages during the month.

Another site I love as there are so many beautiful pages is the Color Room - as their name suggests they focus on a different colour pallette each week.  I love using colour on my pages, and though it often takes me out of my comfort zone to just stick to a small range of colours, I also find it very rewarding and their galleries are packed with gorgeous pages.

Most manufacturers have weekly or monthly challenges, so here are a few.  Crate Paper have a monthly colour challenge, October Afternoon have a Thursday Sketch challenge, MME have a monthly page and card challenge (this link shows Februarys), and Prima also have their Build A Page sketch and a colour challenge too.

I know there are lots more sites out there, and there are a whole host of card making challenge and inspiration sites too.  I hope you enjoy the links there for you to dip in and out of, but hopefully it will give you some extra inspiration to take to your next project.
