The thing I love about crafting is sending personal cards. I have a friend who I frequently supply with my creations and she is fantastic because she really pushes me to think beyond a lovely card ! I make something really unique! The baby card above is inspired by the parents." The parents are in the Territorial Army....." she tells me. Erk!..... I know.... a camouflage babygro!
"Sandy is a music teacher!"
" Kevin's a poi juggler" !!! That one really made me think outside the box! You don't have to necessarily embellish with the obvious- a play on words was ideal here. Although I did tie some poi onto th P! ( If you are wondering- I was!- poi juggling is using fire, balls, flowing fabric etc on a length of cord and swinging it around in a dangerous looking but controlled manner !
And finally.... a wedding cake wrapped in bandages for a pair of medical students. I hope I got you thinking outside the box on your cards. A personal card is always lovely but when the recipient can see how much thought you gave it, it's even better!

It's amazing what cards you get asked to do isn't it, Laura. I have had a few corkers over the years. Great cards.
