Good morning Joy here. I am enjoying a few extra days holiday on my half-term. This has given me lots of time to be crafty.
I love making flowers and the felt ones I am making today are my new favourites.
You will need;
- a square of felt
- a plastic cup
- pencil
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- safety pin
Draw 6 circles on the felt, using the plastic cup as your template.
Draw 1 more circle that is slightly smaller than the others
Fold one circle in half.
Fold the right hand side to the middle
Fold the left hand side behind
Apply a little hot glue into the bottom of the folds. Place the 6 petals evenly onto the remaining smaller circle, securing with hot glue gun. Glue a button to the centre.
Stitch a safety pin to the back to make it into a brooch or attach to a hair band for an attractive hair accessory.
Have fun making them in different colours to match all your outfits.
