Hi, Dolly here with another very simple sketch for you to play with.
I love sketches that are really nothing more than a few blocks that you can then dress up, or play down, as you choose.
It would make a great sketch for a card too - Oh I do hope someone will do a card.
Anyway - here is the sketch
and here is a page I made using the sketch. It is a digital page which uses papers and elements by Dawn Inskip from a kit called Tinker from her store at Scrapbookgraphics, and also elements from a kit by MaryFran from Nitwit collections
Enjoy the sketch and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Well, I'm still on Ali's theme of lyrics from last month, so i flipped Dolly's sketch vertically, and yes, another feline in focus coming up:
The journalling is a slightly adapted verse from the song:
She gets too hungry, for dinner at eight,
She snacks on hairclips, no need for a plate.
She never bothers with people she'd hate,
That's why - the lady is a tramp.
The hidden journalling (pull down tag centre right) reads
"Maxie has more than once needed veterinary attention because of her inclination to chomp on anything and everything from hair accessories to rubber bands, and plastic bags to lego. When we try and take something away from her, she gulps it down quick as you like!
(Our daughter calls her a tramp when she sees her rummaging through wastebins.)
She's made her peace with the new girl Pretty, but never quite forgiven Henry the rabbit for his conviction that she would make him the perfect wife!"
I also made a card using Dolly's sketch, a male one, always so hard, since pretty papers and blossoms don't really do the trick.
I used plain white cardstock for the card base, a kraft card layer, and printed off a Cairngorms map. Onto this I layered a cartoon I found online, (with curly hair added), thickers digits, and a compass I made from chipboard, a metal ring and an illustration. I have had the bootlace brads for years.

Hiya Claireliz here with my take on Dolly's sketch.
As soon as I saw the sketch I knew it would be perfect for a layout I'd been thinking of doing for my "addicted to" series (I've been making an album of all the things I'm addicted to, like chocolate, vampire books etc)
So without further ado here is Addicted to Vintage...
I created a frame by cutting one out of some Kraft Cardstock & attaching it with 3d foam pads.
I used Tim Holtz Mini Cirque Alpha stamps to create the title & some American Crafts Flair buttons for embellishments. There is also a handstitched border around the edge of the layout.
The journaling reads: The shoes, the bag, the hat & the jacket, my most loved vintage things, I dream of having a wardrobe full to the brim of vintage clothes.

GlitteryKatie here!
I was a little worried about using a sketch as I tend to make it up as I go along and I usually do this kinda all over the place but this was a lovely sketch and I found it easy to adapt it to my style!
I used a mixture of papers from October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket. The chipboard embellies are Cosmo Cricket and the lil pins are Tim Holtz.

I love all the different takes on Dollys' sketch.
Thanks for sharing.
