Hi there I was one of the lucky people to have a place on the recent ArtsyCraft event.
It was a most magical day.
The box decorated and ready to add emphemera to. (I had intended to take more photos but got carried away with the excitement of being taught a class by Tim Holtz)
We had a tea break and came back to this
There was so much to choose from. It was like being in ideaology and vintage heaven. We'd been told we could take some trinkets of our own to add if we liked so I really didn't know where to start. Tim brought round his sample boxes and I started to put bits together.
I didn't finish it in class as I got to the point of not knowing what to put where, so spent a very happy Sunday finishing it.
and a couple of close ups
Thanks for looking, I hope I've given you a flavour of the day.
Tim signed the apron I made to wear at the event so I will have a great record of my crafting journey.
If you ever get the chance to do a class with him go for it. He truely is an inspiring teacher and makes you feel capable of creating the most stunning piece of art.
We also had a class with Lin and Leandra, more about that next time.

Beautiful box Lynne, looks like you had a fabulous time. The bag of trinkets looks amazing. x

Love the photos you have taken and the class sounds amazing. I have been taught by Tim too and recommend him though i'm not a huge fan of grunge but he is just such a good Teacher it's a must :)
