A friend recently had a baby girl and she really likes bunting. Although she had made some bunting I decided to make a short piece of girly bunting with her name on.
I cut out out eight pieces to make the banner and cut the letters out of patterned fabric.
The letters were stitched onto the banner with blanket stitch.
I used a sewing maching to zig zag around the edges of each banner and then sewed each letter onto a piece of ribbon.
This is really easy to make, hope you might have a go at your own bunting.

Bunting for a baby, what a delightful idea, it's lovely Debbie. Bunting is one of the loveliest decorations, so versatile, and easy to co-ordinate and theme; I sang at a wedding in October where the bride had made endless yards of it to decorate the venue, and to match the bridesmaids.
