I went to a local craft fair and did a workshop with time to sow, the website is here. I liked the effect so much I decided to make some as keyrings for gifts.
I rubbed the stampboard with pigment inks with my finger, quite messy but the best way to apply them.
You can build up the colour and make the edges darker. The great thing is if you make a mistake you can rub it all off with a babywipe and start again.
Small stamps are best with tiny keyrings, and then you can use a 'pokey tool' to scratch off some of the ink and add white highlights. Then emboss over the top to create an enamel type effect.
I am just waiting for some keyring findings to be delivered and I will have some handmade keyrings.
