Flower bookmarks

We all love reading in our house and often use scraps of paper as a bookmark. Looking at my huge stash of flowers and buttons I decided to make some pretty bookmarks.

I cut some ribbon into approx 12" lengths, and sewed a hem on each end.

I put flowers together in colour combinations before I started sewing them on the ribbon.

I sewed buttons on the end of each bookmark.

I've used up some of my stash, and have some pretty and useful gifts for Christmas.
