Well, some of us in the UK are having a very hot dry spell, so it only grows with plenty artificial, ie tap, water!
And it is growing :) The flowers are all really beautiful but dead heading and keeping it tidy is a long thankless job.
The dreaded hedge had a trim, thanks to DH while I was skype chatting to my family in NZ.
And Josh, the cat, is making the most of the shade in this heat.
As for the veggie patch, it's doing very well.
It is full to overflowing, thanks to some very generous friends who had surplus seedlings.
The beans (different to the ones I planted earlier in the spring) are growing up their little teepees.
These are the original beans, all fat and lush!
And the mage tout is yummy when I remember to pick them before they turn into pea pods :O
This lovely round onion seed head is from an onion that came up from last years crop. I left it to grow as it adds a bit of prettyness to the place.
I am a very proud learner gardener. I don't know many tricks to the perfect veg, but I love the process and when I harvest I am a very haPPy person!!
Thanks for visiting!!

Doesn't seem to me like you need any tricks - your veg are looking fabulous. There is nothing quite like picking and eating your own, I agree.
Our hosepipe ban starts today, so I'll be growing biceps.

You wouldn't think you were a learner looking at these piccies. That onion head is so pretty - never seen one of those before!
