Hi, I'm Lynne and I adore all things sparkly and messy.
I was blog hopping whem I came across THIS on Suze Weinbergs blog. It inspired me to get out my coloured encaustic waxes and have a play.
You need to remember it's not like painting and to build up the layers slowly.
You can buy specialist tools for applying the wax, but I use a travel iron. Once you've used it with wax you can't use it on clothes again. (I speak from experience)
I've added foils, rubons, smooch inks and tissue to add depth to it.
If you don't have coloured encaustic waxes, you could always use wax crayons.
Lynne
Oh this is beautiful Lynne. I only have a full size iron and I think there might be complaints if I use it for this. Will be looking out for a cheap travel iron though.

Fantastic, it has richness and depth, and is pretty too.
