Hello, Eleanor here.
These little pocketed albums, 6in by 4in, are just waiting for someone to pop in photos and write a few words.
We're mostly familiar with the accordion style mini album, this one uses lots of odds and ends of stash - stickers, chipboard shapes, tags, ribbons, journalling spots, micro glitter, buttons, rub-ons and stick-on jewels, as well as patterned paper. I chose papers in blues and greens, and then simply pulled out lots of embellishments of a similar colour.
The number of pages is up to you, I used 3 sheets of co-ordinating paper, but just one sheet makes a lovely little album.
First cut your patterned paper into 3 pieces, 12 in by 4in.(you'll se a few different variations in this post - why make one when you can make 3?)
Then score at 6 in.
Place your folded pieces like so, if you have just 3, use 2 at the front and the other one behind. More, just layer them along.
Now adhere them together before someone destroys your plan.
Attach along the bottom of the pages, and at the fold and the short ends, leaving the tops open for journalling tags, and embellish with all your matching pieces.
In the pockets there are plenty of tags to journal on.
I shall give these away, what will you do with yours?
Cheerio for now.
This is gorgeous. I love the colours.

That is beautiful - I am definitely going to make one. I am reading a book called "Twenty wishes" at the moment so think I'll use my pocket accordion to record my own twenty wishes.....

What a lovely idea although I have 2 labradors and I am afraid that if they sat in it, it would never be the same again!!

I love these, such a fab idea. I am going to have a go at one now for some small holiday photos I took last year.
