Hi all from Di still suffering from the sticky stuffy heat and humidity in Durban South Africa. Roll on April when I have been assured it cools down.
I have so enjoyed attending my class at Scrap n Patch in Umhlanga Rocks Durban. today I will share my adaptation of Patti's page,
What did I learn from this class? I am inspired by the "versatility of symmetry". If there is symmetry in the two pages you can turn them around swap right with left, turn them upside down etc. Symmetry is balance and I believe the real measure of a GREAT design.
I loved the stickers - a bit retro
Now
- Imagine turning the RHS upside down - it still works.
- Imagine swapping the LHS with the RHS it still works
- Imagine turning both pages upside down it still works.
- Imagine rotating the pages 90 degress it still works
Woo Hoo I am so excited about this - it means a really easy way to create an entire album simply, based on symmetry!
I'll be back next month to explore this concept.
Thanks for visiting IACW and love always from Di X
'Balance' in scrapbook page design is always something I love to learn more about. Thanks for that!
