Hiya Claire here.
So here's the thing, I had planned to show you the fantastic little shrug I've been knitting from a pattern I found on Ravelry (a very cool knitting forum), the shrug was coming along really well, it was half knitted, until I realised I had my tension wrong... & I had to pull it all out & start all over again, however this means I have learnt a few things, keep your tension even & also how to correct a wrong stitch & pick up a dropped one, which is better than driving to mums whenever I have a knitting problem (yep, I'm looking for the silver lining).
So here is the shrug attempt 2...
so this is the cuff & a few inches of sleeve, I love teal so it had to be, besides it goes with my jeans.
Its a really easy pattern to follow using Rib stitch & its all knitted in one piece, even easier for a newbie knitter like me.
Well I'd better go & get some more knitted now, I'm hoping to have it finished very soon.
Thanks for stopping by & I'll post pics of the shrug when its finished.
See you soon
Claire
xx
Hi Claire which pattern is it? I am new to knitting too but find Ravelry quite mind boggling!
Thanks
Kirsty

Claire, ttis is lovely. It looks very even and smooth to me, and teal is one of my favourite colours. Please keep us posted on progress!
