My daughters boyfriend is going to be 21 so I decided to make him an altered canvas with a couple of nice photos of him and my daughter.
I used a cheap white canvas and covered it with turqoise paint. I then used a cosmic shimmer mist in purple violet to add a little to the background. I also punched some hearts and sprayed those with cosmic shimmer mist in aqua lagoon colour.
Apologies for the photos, they were taken at night so the colours dont show up as well.
I cut some chipboard decorative accents using a sizzix die and painted them dark green.
I added a grungeboard swirl painted turqoise and a little bird and matted the photos adding a punched border in violet card.
I added flowers for a finishing touch and finished off the centres with a tiny pearl dot.
This canvas will go perfectly with the decor of the room, I hope he likes it.
Debbie x
That is gorgeous, I've been wondering what to do with couple of canvases I've got.
