Hi again from Di
I attended a class again on the 5th September with the lovely ladies Patti, Zandile, and teacher Tracy at Scrap n Patch Umhlanga Rocks and wow we created a double layout to Di(e) for!
We used 2 sheets of cardstock and 2 sheets of PP for the basic page background, THEN another 4 sheets of patterned paper and more cardstock! Did I ever tell you that I live on a small budget? Well LOL I blew the budget that day. (Well worth it)
It was a great class - Tracy is just the best teacher - here are my pages - waiting for photographs and the title. This the left hand side:
And this is the right hand side:
We only used about 6 centimetres of each of 3 sheets of PP and I had loads left over. This is why we used so little - we cut strips from the PP!
When I got home I IMMEDIATELY planned to use up the leftovers! I trimmed bits then laid them all outout:
We had also used foam core in the class so I had to use it again. I had forgotten just how much I love that stuff. Hee Hee.
So card making started and before I knew it I had all of these cards:
This one I can add my sentiment as I need the card
This tiny little card is for my land lady's daughter who I invited to scrap with me next Saturday.
Almost all of the cards have "raised bits" and I used some very inexpensive letters for the sentiments. Yes they all have a very similar look and feel but I now have 6 cards to give to 6 different people AND made in just one hour.
Thanks for visiting IACW and love always from Di X
So pretty and so productive - holy moly I'm in awe!
