Hello, Debbie here with a travel journal
for the unprepared.
We booked a holiday last minute, to Prague and Berlin. I didn’t have time to make a journal to fill in and didn’t know what kind of pages etc I would need, so I made a very basic journal to record details and safely store tickets and leaflets.
I had some very thick glittery felt that I used for the front and back cover.
The inside pockets are made of cream card cut slightly smaller than a cd envelope.
I have also added clear plastic cd
envelopes, and some pre-made journalling envelopes. Punch holes through all and use book rings to keep together. Once
assembled there are pages to write notes and lots of cd pockets to store
tickets and receipts safely.
Once you have finished it’s easy to take out your pages and add more for another trip. It means I have dates tickets and leaflets to hand before I start a mini book or album.
I hope this has given you some ideas for collecting memories and other things from your holidays.
Debbie x
No hols on the horizon but great for days out too, instead of rummaging through old carrier bags a week later for those all important programmes, tickets and that feather they have to pick up no matter where you go.
E
xx
