Hi there, Deanne here and I just thought I'd share with you whats currently going on at home and in my allotment.
Our garden at home is really under renovation! (ie its a tip until we get it sorted) but its amazing what can still grow in pots and mini greenhouses.
I adore these paper lanterns, they are so pretty, I'm certain every other day another lantern appears :)
and as for my tomatoes
I think I'll be able to feed the family and friends with the amount!
Up the allotment, although its A LOT of hardwork, its worth it and I enjoy the peace up there so much, and I've made a lovely friend too :)
My pumpkins are coming on great and it looks like again I'll be sharing those with family and friends!
Everything else like courgettes, beans, strawberries are in full swing.
I also planted my aloe vera plants up there to see how they would do and they seem to be doing fine.
Flower and Herb garden are planned for next year, so watch this space :)

Hi from Caz!
I have been harvesting :)
These potatoes we had on Friday night as crispy wedges, they were so yummy and just a quick scrub with a potato brush removed the dirt and skin, so no peeling!
My lettuce garden is coming on well now too. And they taste great! It's so easy to cut the lettuce straight into the sink and there are no bugs on them.
And the tomatoes are also coming on nicely. I picked some to ripen on the window sill so the bugs don't get to them first.
Such wonderful bounty from the land :)
xx
i love that lettuce idea cazz !!! its really decorative too, i think i may have to try that :) xxx
