Before we share our resolutions with you, I want to introduce the newest member of our little Creative Team. Please welcome the lovely Debbie who we are delighted said YES to our invitation. Debs is a stay at home mum to 4 GORGEOUS boys, and is a wonder woman when it comes to car boot sales, and her knack for finding the most AWESOME goodies. Hi from Maddi in Johannesburg South Africa - I celebrated the New Year 2 hours before many of you. Some of you down under, celebrated the New Year many hours before me. And some of our visitors from the United States are still in 2008!!!
I wonder if any of you have made new year resolutions?
"A New Year's Resolutionis a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until fulfilled or abandoned. " (Thanks to Wikipedia)
New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It's a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. Did your New Year resolutions make the top ten list?
-
Spend more time with family and friends
-
Fit in Fitness
-
Tame the bulge
-
Quit smoking
-
Tame the bulge
-
Quit Drinking
-
Get out of debt
-
Learn something New
-

-
Get Organised
MadDi has made this resolution - "Whatever I resolve to do this year I will focus on "Just for today" or "one day at a time"!
Hi Everyone :) I just want to say a huge hello to all the readers of this blog and a massive THANK YOU to the creative girls for inviting me to be part of this team!

Hello All :O)
I'm a great believer in thinking positively and I positively know that I cannot stick to any resolutions so I won't make any this year!!!
However I am going to indulge my butterfly mind and try out as many new techniques and crafts as take my fancy this year.
I'm also going to give up the pretense that I am a decent housewife and I will designate my house a dust 'protected' zone!
I promise that I will increase the amount of glitter I use and craft as often as possible.
Have a very Happy New Year.
(Glittery-er) Katie x
For me 2009 is all about change and a fresh start for me and my little family.
I always make resolutions and always break them and I'm hoping that this year will be different. I'll be using our 12 months = 12 projects to keep me on track so you never know I may stick to them.
My mantra, as always, will be to *Count my blessings and not my sorrows* and 2009 is going to be a good one.
Wishing you all the happiest of times.

2008 has been a challenging one, for me personally. It's been a roller coaster of emotion, a year that I will look back on with fond memories but also a year that I don't want to repeat. I'm SO looking forward to 2009, and the positive changes I will make in my life. I'll be going Back to Basics on a journey to find the good and simple soul that I know I possess. haPPy nEw yeAr to you all. 2009 for me will be a year of change. I intend to stop spending money on stash that I don't need and use all the stuff I've accumulated over the past 5 years or so. I intend to complete more layouts and cards than I have this year and try to do something "crafty" every day even if it's only for 5 minutes. I've learned this year that you never know what life is going to throw at you so I'm going to enjoy it while I can and hope that everyone else does too. Wishing you all a very Happy New year Jo xx
