Hi, it's Maria here and I hope that you're enjoying our cornucopia of creative Christmas idea.
Following on from Caz's gorgeous cards I thought that I would share an easy peasy card making idea. This is a very simple card that your children can make and uses up any of card and paper that you have laying around. Let's face it most of us could decorate a room with our scraps stash.
My girlies are 8 and 10 so can cut out the shapes and crack on with it. However, if you pre-cut the shapes this card is easily made by much younger children.
You will need
* Scraps of cardstock and patterned paper
* Plain card blank
* Threading water punch - We're a tad obsessed with using this punch at the moment
The how to - I know that you don't need this bit but here goes
Cut two triangles in the paper cardstock mix that you like for the tree - One needs to be slighly wider and longer than the other
Cut one rectangle for the base
If you have a pretty punch you can fancificate the bottom of the larger tree
Glue it to your card base and you're done!!!
So, a very simple card that children can create with minimum effort on a rainy afternoon.
I hope that you're enjoying our Christmas cheer and as always we'd love to see your take on our ideas. Well, you know what a nosey bunch we are.

Ooh, before I go I must remind you of the card that Jo's daughter made last year. You can see it here
