I am inpired by lots of different things but my daughters jacket got me thinking.
I had been given some canvas paper and i thought i would try something different instead of printing with it.
I painted it...it really soaks up the paint so if you are mixing your own colour, then mix loads....I then used some of my rub-ons to emulate the pattern on the jacket.
I then mounted it in a frame from the pound shop....it will go great when we decorate her bedroom in blue and black.
It was quick and easy to do and very cheap.
My daughter was inspired when we went to a Manga exhibition.
On display was a canvas with drawn figures on it. It’s not really possible to do this onto a normal canvas as they had obviously been printed specially but canvas paper was ideal.
Here is her artwork.
So what inspired you?
See you soon
Lemon xx
I love that first canvas, you've done a fantastic job with the rub-ons!
