I love Cathy Zielske's style of scrapping but it's not one that I can really pull off.
Although that doesn't mean I don't try :)
Here are two examples of pages where less is more.
The first is simply die cut basic grey tags layed on a piece of white cardstock, with some stitching around the edge. I love these colours but only had about 3 sheets and the tags. So it made sense to use the tags and make the most of the different patterns. And of course I got to use up a sheet of die cuts!
And the second, which is actually one of my favourites, incorporates keeping it simple and also a good idea for scrapping those old photos. One on a page would just look silly! BUT I love these photos of me and HAD to scrap them :)
Keeping it simple doesn't just mean using very few papers or embellishments. It can also mean using loads but also making sure you leave some 'white space'.
And to celebrate it being Friday, I have a little RAK give away. Everyone who leaves a comment on todays post, you have until midnight on Saturday to leave your comment, will be entered into a luck dip draw. The winner will be drawn on Sunday and announced on my post on Monday the 1st :)

What a great idea for using up those tags.... I have a few sheets of those that came with collection packs or in kits and no idea what to do with them all - will try that -thanks!
Also love the 2nd one too - very simple but effective.

Mine wasn't exactly less is more, in fact it became more and then still more, as I got carried away with those diecuts, but I really enjoyed it, thanks Caz.
It's on my blog http://paperseaside.blogspot.com/

I love the BG tags one! I never know what to do with them, but using lots like that all on one looks great. Cathy Zielske is on of my scrapping influences, so these will definitely go into my ideas book. Thanks.
