My little black book!

I thought I would share my little black book with you today, and encourage you to get one of your own if you haven’t already!

 

 

My book isn’t actually so little, it’s A4 size and packed to the hilt with goodies – inspirational goodies that it is ;)

 

I used to save every one of my scrapping magazines until they pretty much needed their own extension so I decided to change the way I stored them. Now every time I get a new copy of a magazine, the old version of it gets the chop!

 

 

I pretty much cut out anything that catches my eye – be that a layout, a quote, an advert, a sketch, a colour combination….just anything that makes me look at it twice.

 

 

Once I have a big pile they all get stuck into my book, in no particular order, just wherever there is a space that fits.

 

 

 

Now instead of a 4ft stack of magazines I have an A4 book and just a pile of my latest issues. It’s also really great to quickly flick through the book and I always find something that triggers off an idea or two!
