Hi all from MadDi
Two of my new Johannesburg aquaintances are celebrating their birthdays within a few days of each other. They are married and I thought I would make them co-ordinating cards.
I used 1 sheet of cardstock, scraps of patterned paper and my new toy, the silhouette, which has been in a box for a year. So today you see the VERY first thing I cut with my craft robo!!!!
Now my silhouette I bought last year and did not unpack it until encouraged by the girls at IACW a few weeks ago. I selected one of the samples to cut. LOL my first attempt cut NOTHING cos I forgot to insert the blade. I was pleased with the heart cos it gave me two bits; the inside and the outside.
For both cards I folded my 6 by 12 piece of cardstock and just decorated with different patterned papers.
And here are the two cards:
I was so pleased with these two cards cos I only used scraps (except for the cardstock). As you can see I love to mix papers, and these cards were made with scraps from 3 different papers!
Co-ordinating cards may be nice for twins, or for mum and dad at Christmas. lets see your co-ordinated cards!!! Send pics and we will put them in your very own IACW readers gallery.
Thanks for visiting IACW and love from MadDi XXX
