Hi everyone.
A few weeks ago i bought a really cheap frame in Tesco. I think it cost around £7 but it was really good quality and holds 9 photographs, perfect for loads of pictures of my son Corey :)
The mount for it however was brilliant white and as my living room is yellow and cream it stood out like a sore thumb. So an idea sprung to mind to alter the mount.
It took hardly any time and was very inexpensive to make so is ideal for an odd hour you have spare.
I took the mount out and gave it a coat of paint(it's only needed one). I used the colour Buttermilk.
I used American Crafts chipboard alphabet for the title and, as the frame was quite symmetrical, i decided to make this look a little 'untidy'. Then all i did was add a few Rhonna Farrer rub ons.
You can really add as much or as little as you want and paint it in any colour that co-ordinates with the room you choose to hang it in.
I hope it's given you a little bit of inspiration.
