Steam a seam is a bonding agent that is used by quilters but can also be used by other crafters. It’s very versatile and fabric covered chipboard adds a different dimension to your work.
I trace around my chipboard shapes onto the steam a seam and then I remove the liner (that does not have the tracing on) and adhere to the fabric.
I then cut it out and remove the other paper liner, and adhere it to the chipboard.
Following the instructions on the steam and seam packaging, I then iron the fabric onto the chipboard.
For the button I inked the edges and added some stickles. When dry I added the ribbon then I attached magnets to the back.
For the bird I attached the wing with glossy accents and added a small gem for the eye.
You can also use it on cardstock but just be careful with the iron!
Thanks for looking
