Hi folks. Its MadDi here again.
As a newbie cardmaker, someone who loves a 3D effect, loves to use LOADS of stash, and loves flowers, I could not resist sharing this idea with you today.
Example 1:
Example 2:
And finally some very simple instructions:
You will need some patterned paper, cardstock, and florist wire.
For the vase: Cut 1 piece of cardstock 4 by 5 inches and 1 piece of PP 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches. Attach the PP to the cardstock and score 1 cm from each side. Fold back. You will use this fold to attach the vase to the card.
Card: Cut 1 piece of cardstock 6 by 12inches and fold in half. Attach 1 piece of PP 5 1/2 by 11 inches to the cardstock.
Flowers: I just cut circles and squiggly circles and layered them with sticky foam. I then wound some florist wire round a pencil and attached the wire to the back of the flower.
Attach the flowers to the card then attach the vase to the card.
I could not resist attaching a few tiny strips of paper that I again wound round a pencil!
LOL I made 3 of these cards but gave them away so quickly I had to make a fourth to record all the instructions!!!
Just a parting thought from me as I ask for your thoughts and support:
God
Grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change,
The COURAGE to change the things I can,
And the WISDOM to know the difference.
Stopping Smoking is the first thing I CAN change
I have stopped smoking to:
- Improve my health
- Improve my quality of life and
- Improve my finances LOL
Thanks for visiting IACW!
