Hi from Di in my new home in Johannesburg.
Are you finding that you are being influenced by the creative process of the A to Z journal? I certainly am. I am having fun playing, experimenting and remebering things I did as a child.
Before I left England Caroline (CAZ) was disarding a pack of paper and embellishments that she would NEVER use. My Scottish background forced me to grab the pack greedily and see what I could do with it.
A card for Jessica - simple cutout dolls...
The inside ...
And a big envelope ...
I started with a piece of patterned paper 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. I then scored and folded one inch intervals ( on the 6 inch side).
I then drew half a 'doll', cut it out and 3 dolls are strung together. You can do this with almost any shape.
If you use plain paper you can then decorate your cut outs using coloured pens, pencils, paint crayons etc. Alternatively use patterned paper and decorate with ribbons and buttons.
Do you enjoy cutting images from magazines? I do! So a little experiment in cutting out houses a string of houses! We would love to see how you could use this idea!
Have fun Creating
Love from MadDi
