And a big hello from Di the "newbie" card maker.
Insired by our lovely Andrea, I have decided to make a few more cards this year. Here is my first attempt for the year.
I have been staying with Caz for the past 5 weeks and have had great fun digging through her off cuts. It's always a challenge to me to use someone else's stash! It was Caz's birthday yeserday so here is the card I made for her:
Materials: 6 by 12 inch piece of cardstock, scraps of patterned paper and cardstock, black ink, alpha stamps and a black pen.
I scored the cardstock at 3 inches and 9 inches then folded the 3 inch pieces inwards. I then decorated the card outside and inside with scraps of patterned paper. I stamped 'Hapy Birtday and 'Caroline and hand wrote the words that describe Caz.
Using the same style here is another card made to thank Caz and her DH for having me to visi for such a long time. They have made me so welcome!!!
Materials: 6 by 12 inch piece of cardstock, scraps of patterned paper and cardstock, black ink, and some old die cut letters.
I so enjoyed making these cards. I mixed PP and used ONLY Caroline's scraps!!!
Love from Maddi !!!
Lovely cards, Di - look forward to seeing lots more :)
