Advent: "Advent is the beginning of the Church Year for most churches in the Western tradition. It begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day, which is the Sunday nearest November 30, and ends on Christmas Eve (Dec 24). If Christmas Eve is a Sunday, it is counted as the fourth Sunday of Advent, with Christmas Eve proper beginning at sundown."
So yesterday must have been the first Sunday of Advent.

Thanks for all the birhday wishes the other day - I had a lovely day! You guys are just the BEST!
Friday we prepared for my niece Joanne's party on Saturday. We had about 30 people. I made a huge "chocolate box cake". Friday we shopped, and Saturday we cooked the fillets, prepared the fruit salad, made the salad, cooked the spinach pies made a gorgeous potato salad and got the garden organised. And I had my "last" (for this year) visit to the dentist on Friday. Woo Hoo
The garden llooked so pretty with my gingham bunting, lovely tablecloths and beautiful flowers.
THANKS for visiting me.
