LOL we have no pets but we had such a laugh in the UK when this chicken wandered down the road. Caz had me chasing it and I eventually caught it!

Think I am tired of taking pics of me but I love to perform in front of my camera - so here you are again LOOKing in a mirror but with a slightly different LOOK (colour scheme) for me! The shots are taken in the bathroom in my studio (as though you cannot see) Hee Hee So here you are the lady in RED!

 

 

I bought the litle red number when I met Hannah in Hitchin in September - yes I know it's a bit revealing for me LOL and a bit clingy!!!

I tried to get the art work you see in the mirror in focus LOL. Maybe I need more practice at this.

Now I bought this mirror to take overseas with me in August but had no space in my suitcase so I left it behind. That is the reason it is in my studio.

Yesterday afternoon a shelf fell of my wall and all my little houses fell to the floor! Today i am going to try to repair the two that are only slightly damaged trouble is I have to find the bits in the bag full that I collected from the floor!

 

The houses belonged to my mum, and I have added to the collection so I was very bleak yesterday afternoon. Fortunately some of the houses the really good ones remained intact!

Am now just so excited - one more sleep and we will hear Anita's secret!

But first a BIG happy birthday to my brother Robert who celebrates the big 50. Happy birthday Rob!!!

I love to spend time in the garden, and it is the one place where I am patient and tranquil. To watch the new leaf of a tree fern slowly uncurl from it's almost foetal position gives me great joy.

 

Just in case you have not guessed, I think I am an obsessive compulsive. Yes I do think I am well sort of and still tinking about it.

How do I know or think I know I am? Well for the past two flippin months, 2 songs are in my brain ALL DAY, and I sing them all the time. 

The one is "Uptown Girl, she's been living in her ...." and the other from Flashdance is: "She's a maniac maniac on the floor and she's dancing like she's never danced before...." 

Ok I know I am an uptown maniac kind of girl, but can you believe that?

Trust me I sing them each 2 hundred million times a day (quietly) and when I am not singing them then for the past few days its been 5 more days 4 more days 3 more days 2 more days !!!!

So, do you think I could be obsessive compulsive?

Or maybe an "Impulsive, Impatient, Obsessive Compulsive"?

My visit to Stirling Castle was a great day out for me and so steeped in History. We were entertained with history:

 

But the highlight of Stirling Castle was seeing the new tapestries that are being made - the Unicorn series. No photographs can do them justice and I am blessed that I saw them and saw the next one being made. They are flipping Ginormous, vibrant and so beautifully crafted that i was well and truly gobsmacked (excuse the expression -  so unlike me!)

A special moment of the wedding for me, was when the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom were presented with beautiful bunch of flowers. My friend Wild Roze the mother of the groom was touched to tears.

and I am still impatient LOL!!!

Mine are all cheats today. This shot is from Christmas 2007 when I was in the UK. Caz and Stu's table made by Stu, consists of loads of sturdy beams.

Have I shown you this shot of me getting ready for the wedding? How cool is that head piece?

Yesterday was a great crafty day. I made good progress on Christmas projects for IACW. Getting excited now about Christmas. Woo Hoo. I also did my gardening yesterday, watered the seedlings which are doing so well and transplated one plant.

Did I tell you that my sister and I have started walking in the evenings? We started last Thursday and so far have walked 5 times! We are trying to get a bit fitter and of course get into better 'shape' for summer. It feels good to come home with sore muscles and a bit out of breath LOL.

Today I have a big shop to do. We are making cakes and snacks for a baby shower on Saturday. (My nephew Steven's fiance Samantha asked us to do the goodies for her).  

On Saturday i am visiting my dear friends Sue and Howard for dinner. Then on Sunday, lunch with my brother Rob, to celebrate his 50th birthday. So a BUSY weekend.
