And it's a brand new week.
Weekend was again a bit hectic with loads of sewing done a little gardening and shopping. Today is my quiet day and I need to catch up with some posts for IACW. So its CRAFTING today

A cheat from my train trip from Edinburgh to Stevenage in September 2008 - the table is "set" with a "set" of cups and a "set" of sugar!!! Now why on earth would I get my camera out for this? Because for the first time in my life I was travelling FIRST class on a train LOL.
And from today - sets of colouring things n my space:
OK here is my rosy tablecloth! It is made from a fabric backed oil cloth and all I did was round the corners and then used cotton bias binding to edge the cloth. I made two this weekend!
And here is a very poor shot of some of the bunting I made for Jo's party.
This is not where it will hang but it's normally quite a good place to take photos of my bunting.
I'll just show this again from yesterday as well - you can see the colours MUCH better
The bunting is real simple and I can use it for Christmas as well. Each triangle is double and I have 26 double triangles. I may add some bells or buttons

and I have nothing to show off today except these...
taken in Caz's garden in September. The sunflower was about 12 foot tall!
I have been busy sewing tablecloths for home, stuff for Sam (my niece) and bunting which is almost finished for a party for Jo (my niece) at the end of November. So it has been hectic. My sister Linda and I shared the sewing so that was a big help!!!
The bunting is real simple and I can use it for Christmas as well. Each triangle is double and I have 26 double triangles. I may add some bells or buttons .... I just have to put the whatever through the top.
Will show the finished pics maybe tomorrow! MMMM I just see that I have not sorted out all the point y bits will do that now!
We had a lovely chat yesterday with my niece Dani who lives in England. She is joyfull and makes me laugh.

It's been a busy week for me, and last night we went for 'cheap chinese' to our favourite Chinese restaurant. It was yummy. I ate too much (blushing face here) LOL
We realy need to do some baking this weekend as all the biscuit tins are empty. I have to tell you about my sister cos when she starts to bake she bakes plenty! Double batches of Koulourakia, Biscotti and MORE. She scares me when she gets so busy!

Morning everyone! - I just LOVE stripes!!!

Mum's litle chair is the only comfy' chair in my studio, I have thrown over it a stripy piece of fabric which kind of matches the eclectic feel of the room!

Woo Hoo I am officially out of retirement and the work sounds great! I will be working about 20 hours per week, I can work at home when it's suitable, and I have STARTED! My first task is to prepare presentation material - 2 presentations which I should be able to customise and re-use over and over!
LOL have to get back to work!!!

LOL I have been out gardening this morning - yes this early and my feet are dirty! I dipped them in the swimming pool to test the temperature and WOW summer is on it's way!
Well yesterday I bought all the fabric and have cut eveyhing out. Today I start the big SEW! But first I am seeing my new boss to sign my letter of appointment and find out when i start and what I will be doing!
Then I have to back to the vehicle licensing department to change my address and get my vehicle licences - they expire at the end of October. Believe me this is NOT a fun expedition as I will probably wait for a good few hours!
Then the big sew will start. LOL
So here is the fabric for the tablecloths - 20 metres of cotton bias binding and zillions of metres of rosy oil cloth! Yes a bt vintage for me!!!!

This week I have another busy week. I have sewing to do for my nephew's fiance, bunting to make for a party for my niece Joanne, an appointment with my future employer to sign my letter of appointment, and somehow I have to fit in having one nail fixed which I chipped this morning (sad face here).
Oh and I also want to make new cloths for our outside garden tables. So I have to buy the fabric and the binding and do the sewing!!!
