and I will be on my way to the UK!!!!
The word today is Succulent: Tender, juicy or tasty. A plant with thick fleshy leaves.
Well this was tender, juicy and tasty!
Today I am visiting a fabric shop - this time upholstery fabric and curtaining. My friend is upholstring some furniture and has to choose fabric. I am going to take photographs of fabrics that my sister might like as she also wants to have the living room furniture changed. Then I have a few things to finish if I am going to achieve my week's crafting target.
Oh pop on over to IACW if you have a moment as I have posted a card today.
LOL I visited Sue Nicholson's blog this morning and had a good laugh at her 'Finished projects' go on over and have a laugh! (I think she interpreted the prompt "soaked" like me but did not actually post the shot!)
And especially for Hannah, this is my special place - Hermanus. I visit every year just to watch the whales...This was taken from the verandah of our rented apartment.
And of course whales made me think of my last trip in October 2007 with my niece Joanne and her boyfriend Richard. I made this little album for him
here are just some of the pages:
Now this is really my preferred method of scrapping - cutting bits and pieces from Magazines etc.
Thanks for visiting me and love from Di X
great 'succulent ' pic! aren't you lucky to watch the wales...wale watching is one of my favourite things to do on vacation!!!

9 more sleep, you can hardly wait falalalala.
That looks so tasty! But I am loving the plates even more!
Me and fabric stores are dangerous together. I have been going and buying the scrap 1 yard fabrics and producing napkins. Think it is time to start selling these.
The book is fab!

Love the shot - & the one of the whale - when we visited Hermanus last November it was a miserable rainy day & although we did see a whale it wasn't a brilliant view as the sea was grey & murky
