Thanks for all your lovely comments yesterday and I had to laugh that some of you thought maybe there was a baby on the way for Anita.

I am going to have my hair done this morning. Boo Hoo the hairdresser does not have purple so I may have to pink AGAIN . Then I am going to a GREAT wool shop where I am hoping to get some more colours for the blankie!!! I know exactly what I want so hold thumbs for me.

I wonder if you remember my crochet cushions that I made for a post on It's a Creative World in March 2008???

Well to cut a long story short I am now making a baby blanket for our very own Anita. She will use it for her photo shoots of BABIES!!! It has taken since early March to order the cotton and have it delivered but it is now underway. I am just so excited and I think Anita is too LOL

Here is the cotton. It is Rowan Cotton Glace and feels just gorgeous. It is slightly thinner than the cotton I used for my cushions and has the most beautiful sheen. I bought 16 colours (48 by 50gm balls  3 balls of each colour.) So, the blanket will be COLOURFUL, BRIGHT and very JOYFULL!!!

I am making a 'double sided' blanket. The one side will be for the girls with colours like: hot pink, orange, turquoise, yellow, coral, red, lilac etc. The other side will be for the boys with colours like:Turquoise, blue, green, aqua, lime, yellow.

So I now have two baskets of cotton, but knowing me I may still buy one or two more colours.LOL:

I will bring the blanket to England on the 1st August 2008 and post it to Anita on the 2nd August.

Sneezy: frequently shown with one finger underneath his nose, as if trying to stifle a sneeze; sometimes difficult to distinguish between Sleepy and Bashful; wears a yellow-brown tunic, long white hair and beard.

Sleepy: perhaps the most difficult to differentiate between Sleepy and Bashful, though he wears a perpetually sleepy looking, heavily lidded expression on his face; wears a brownish tunic, green cap, long white hair and beard.

i have had a busy week what wilth all the pampering and work a girl has no time to craft.

My eyelash tint was GREAT but had a disaster with the eybrow wax and I have been scarred all week. It's getting better but I looked like I had been in a fight!

Hair was cut yesterday and I have been on a 'photo shoot' this morning - for work.

Can you believe what I just did? I saved this pic as my background AAAAGGGGHHH. Just pressed the wrong button. LOL

I have been this am to have my nails done and they look gorgeous. I went to a new place as I was not happy with my nails last time. Hopefully I can stick with the new one although they were a little over budget (blushing face here).

I am so sorry that I have not visited blogs the past few days but will catch up today. (another blushing face)

Another Monday...

...and it's time for a lttle pampering.

Woo Hoo. Going today for a facial, waxing and eyelash tint. I have never had my eyelashes tinted before so this will be a first. My sister had her's done yesterday and they look great.

Had a lovely day yesterday as my niece Joanne took her mum and myself out for breakfast for mother's day. i was so spoilt with a lovely pair of winter PJs.

LINES: A mark or stroked shape - long in proportion to it's breadth.

LOL being a horizontal and vertical person my world is full of lines - on the floor on my desk and on my chairs. Love my line of sunlight today!

I should be able to share my secret on Wednesday and am so excited. So watch this space Hee Hee.

A big well done to Shannon for her wonderful tribute to mothers yesterday. It made me cry with joy!!! Pop on over and have a look if you have a little spare time.

It's such fun sitting in front of a mirror and clicking away. I was just disappointed with all the light coming in through my bedroom window. But at least you can see it's me and I still have pink (rather faded) hair. I have decided to do PURPLE next time.
