The letter J:

The 10th letter in the 5th month. This year is flying by and it's so lovely to see all the fab pages being sent in or uploaded to the UKS gallery.

Just some Trivia:

J is the tenth letter of the English Language, Unabridged (1993) It was formerly jy (from French ji), and in some dialects, mainly of Scottish English it still is (pronounced /dʒaɪ/).
On many QWERTY alpha numeric keyboards the F and J keys have a raised bar (perceptible to the touch) over them to assist in touch typing.

The letter I

I, ME, YOU, YOURSELF, THE BLOGGER, THE BLOG READER. I is a big word, but only 1 letter. Can you fit YOU on your I page? No matter if you can't, because an added challenge over the next two weeks is to scrap I'. Yes ladies we need to see YOU on a layout, in a mini book, on an altered item, anything! creATe a record of I.

Trivia
The dot over the lowercase 'i' is sometimes called a tittle. In the Turkish alphabet, dotted and dotless I are considered separate letters and both have uppercase (I, İ) and lowercase (ı, i) forms.

Morning all and WOW your wonderfull work is coming in fast and furious!!! We have now decided that we will upload by Tuesday and Friday every week so please do not panic if you send your work on a Wednesday and do not see it immediately on the gallery.

The big day has at last arrived when we launch the A to Z art Journal! We are soooo excited as over 100 people have signed up for the Art Journal!!! So to start with just a few reminders:

We have set up a special page for the project and you can get to it by clicking the art journal button on the right hand side of our blog.

We have also set up a gallery where all your work will be displayed. Email your work to us at acreativeworld@hotmail.co.uk and we will upload pics at least twice per week.

Journalling your A-Z
Many of you are going to look back at this project and remember how you felt when you created your A-Z. Why you chose the words you did to describe yourself or a loved one. Your opinions and ideals. Journalling is also creating, writing stories about who you were for your grandchildren. Let your imagination run wild.
