Woo Hoo its almost the weekend and we have a holiday on Monday!

Today I am going to the music shop to get some updates for the website I have been working on.

Then GRRRRRR I have to buy new cartridges for my printer AGAIN. They gave me the wrong ones and I am so angry. They were R850.00 which is a lot of moneyy for me and are useless to me.

I have been having a course of facials this month two per week. No you are not going to see a massive difference, I am still crinkly, but my skin does feel good.

I am here again

I have been such a bad blogger lately and really have no excuse.

So for my darling niece Dani here you go kid - a view of Steve and Sam's engagement party!!

The garden was the ideal setting for the party! There were about 80 people and 10 children!

We had lovely white tablecloths that I bought for R65 each!!! And I made overlays wih cheap poly cotton  well your mum helped LOL! The overlays were in BRIGHT green, red, orange and pink!

 

I made some paper bunting with bright project board!

And hung it up over the studio where we had all the food!

We made 'balloon' trees!

We had loads of candles in brown paper bags. Uncle Rob and Allie lit all the candles just as it was getting dark!

We had lovely pot plants all white to deorate the tables:

The decor looked really funky and we had so many compliments. The most important was that Steve and Sam LOVED it.

Hi all

Almost recovered from the party on the weekend. I have to say that growing old is NOT for sissies. My sister and I were 'broken' on Sunday!!!

Had a facial yesterday and nails are being done today. There is nothing like a little pampering.

I have been struggling with the new version of typepad. It seems a little unpredictable. Sometimes the text centres (as it should by default), and sometimes we have to centre it. It seems a lot slower and 'times out' so you lose the entire post if you have not saved!

So right now I am 'testing to see if I can detect a pattern.

Sorry about this boring blog! Will get back to normal soon. Ok today's post has centre automatically although on the 'preview' it is left justified'. That is the same as the previous version!

OK I have to set the picture options to have the text flow as inline as the default seems to be text wrap! But I do NOT have to centre the image, it does this automatically!

I have been hectic helping arrange a party for my nephew Steve to celebing his engagement to Samantha. The party was on Saturday and was a great success.

Today I am off to have a facial and waxing. So a bit of relaxation. Should be back on HS:MS soon.
